How do I get started?
The first step is to fill out the contact form, call, or text and let us know what services you are interested in. We will return emails, phone, calls, and text as soon as possible, usually within 24-48 hours. After the initial consultation we will agree on a time for a meet & greet. Meet and greets are required for new clients, they usually last 30 minutes and are free of charge.During the meet and greet we will discuss next steps for scheduling services. It's that easy!
Why should I hire Wags Pet Club instead of relying on my friend or neighbor to care for my pet?
We understand that hiring a pet sitter or dog walker is big deal, it's not only a financial commitment but it is also trusting someone to enter your home and take care of your precious pets. At Wags Pet Club we do this for a living, we take our role as pet caretakers very seriously, we want to spend time with your pets. Friends and neighbors, while well intending, can sometimes forget to check in with your pets and they may not spend quality time with them. Additionally, Wags Pet Club is insured and CPR/first aid certified in case of an emergency.
What is a Meet & Greet?
After the initial consultation we will come to your home and meet you and your pets. We will work with your schedule to find a time that is convenient for you. Meet and greets last about 30 minutes. This is a great time for everyone to meet each other and see how things feel. During the meet and greet we will also discuss any special instructions you have for your pets care, and you will show us where the pets things are kept. This is also a great time to discuss service dates you are needing pet care, and any other questions you might have. Usually during the meet and greet we collect keys, and discuss ways to enter your home while you are away (garage and alarms codes, etc). After the meet greet you will get a follow up email, with instructions on how to access our client portal.
How do I request services?
After the meet and greet you will get a confirmation email that will explain how to access the client portal. We use Time to Pet to store all client and pet information. All information is confidential and can only be accessed by you, the client, and Wags Pet Club. In the client portal you can update information and request services 24/7. Once your request is approved you will be notified via email and sent and invoice for your service request. You may also cancel service requests in the client portal. Please familiarize yourself with our cancellation policy.
Do you take last minute requests?
Yes, we do however we cannot guarantee availability. There is a $5 service charge added for last minute requests. Last minute requests are defined as any request made within 48 hours of service needs.
Do you walk dogs in hot weather or bitter cold?
While Wags Pet Club will always do our best to complete services as scheduled, there are times in extreme cold/heat, natural disaster, or any other event or occurrence, that prohibits access to the clients home or poses a threat to the sitter’s safety. In these instances services may be interrupted, shortened or cancelled. In such cases, the time will be made up by providing play time inside. The client agrees to maintain driveways and walkways of snow and ice so that the sitter may enter and exit the house in a safe manner. Wags Pet Club will not be responsible for any damage done to outside areas due to weather related incidents.

How will I know if you actually walked my dog or checked on my pet?
We use GPS for all walks and pet sits through Time To Pet. You will be updated about the visit as soon as the sitter leaves. You will receive an email or text that will display when your sitter arrived and left your home. You will also get a personalized note about the visit, including photos of your pet(s)! It's really fun to get the updates while you are away at work or vacation. Real time sitter updates give you peace of mind that your pet is being well cared for.
